CRPD Continuing Administrator Negotiations

The Cordova Recreation and Park District isn't quite ready to choose a new district administrator, but it's getting closer.

The district's board of directors will hold a closed session meeting at noon Thursday to continue negotiations over the district administrator position.

Mark Baxter, the board chair, will serve as the .

But Executive Assistant and Assistant Clerk of the Board Danielle Sather said the district isn't ready to choose a candidate yet.

"Please note that the selection and appointment of a candidate – including proposed contract information - will occur in open session," Sather said in an email. "This is required by law, to ensure transparency to the public. Any such planned action will be announced in advance via a press release and as an agenda item."
