Preschoolers aged 3-5 are invited to join us for 30 minutes of interactive play with parent or caregiver followed by stories songs fingerplays and crafts at 10:30. In order to keep Preschool Story & Play safe and enjoyable for all we limit participation to the first 40 children.

Toddlers age 0-2 and their caregivers are invited for 30 minutes of stories songs finger plays and flannel boards. In order to keep Toddler Storytime safe and enjoyable for all we limit participation to the first 30 children. This program is repeated at 10:30 AM. Due to space limitations caregivers and children may attend the 10:00 AM storytime or the 10:30 AM storytime but not both.

Book Launch- Dorobo: Dark Days with local author Chantelle Feasel @ Franklin (Teen)

Come celebrate the release of Science Fiction novel Dorobo: Dark Days with local author and Franklin High School graduate Chantelle Feasel. The story follows two characters through a deadly adventure in a world without oxygen and a universe without a sun. Snag a copy at the launch party meet the author and get your book personalized and autographed enjoy light refreshments and celebrate with Ms. Feasel as she launches her first novel! This is a free program hosted by Franklin Community Library.

Author and historian Judy Yung will visit Franklin Community Library to present a book talk poetry reading and storytelling program from her book Island: Poetry and History of Chinese Immigrants on Angel Island 1910-1940. This is a free program hosted by the Franklin Community Library. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at this event.
