Learn to make wine at home! Sacramento is in the midst of some of the best wine grape vineyards in the world and there’s lots of grapes available. We’ll provide an overview of the basic steps for making red and white wines. We’ll also go over some vineyard talk. Learn how you can procure quality wine grapes and other winemaking related items plus where you can find support to get you started making wine in the upcoming harvest. The African drums begin to pound as the jungle awakens to a new day. Also awakening are the stone idols of Kwaku Aleka and Mammo our storytellers. These stone carvings tell the tale of poor Mosquito and how he commits a terrible crime in the jungle - without even knowing it! With the use of authentic African music and stunning jungle scenery the puppets come to life and cast their magical spell. <I>This is a Black History Month program.</I>
