Grass Fires Near Rosemont Deemed Arson
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire has released a statement that three grass fires near Rosemont have been determined to be the result of arson.

Three small grass fires occurred Wednesday in the area of Bradshaw Rd. and Old Placerville Rd, according to a Sacramento Metropolitan Fire press release.
"We found some evidence that would suggest the fires were intentional, but we're not going to release evidence at this time," said assistant chief for Sacramento Metro Fire Scott Cockrum. "But having three fires in a general area within 15 minutes of one another and the evidence points to arson."
Sacramento Metro firefighters were dispatched on the first fire at 6:44 p.m. and nine firefighters responded in all with none injured, the press release states.
