Interim CRPD Admin Doesn't Want Permanent Job

Interim District Administrator Doug Critchfield, a senior landscape architect , isn't one of those applicants.
"This job requires a lot of evening hours and it requires a lot of extra time," Critchfield said by phone.

He cited "family concerns" and his long commute from Calaveras County as other reasons not to apply for the permanent administrator position, .
"I'll fall back into the senior landscape architect role," Critchfield said.

He said about 40 people applied for the position, and the board would choose six or eight to interview in early December.
The Cordova Recreation and Park District Board of Directors will meet at 4 p.m. Wednesday upstairs at Mills Station, 2900 Mather Field Rd., Rancho Cordova.
