Read to a Dog! @ Fair Oaks (School Age (6-12))
Bring your child to the library to read aloud to a quiet friendly dog. Each dog is attended by an adult volunteer and both are trained and licensed by Therapy Dogs Inc. Children who read to the dogs can earn a book of their choice from our collection of books provided by the Friends of the . And for our December program we are encouraging participants to come in their pajamas!

Come get your dress! Community donations of dresses accessories and other formal wear will be given away FREE to youth ages 13-19 (please bring your school ID). How to participate: 1. Tell your friends and classmates to donate their lightly used formal wear and invite them to a giveaway event. 2. Do not wear makeup that may get on the dresses. 3. Wear under-clothing that makes it easy to change in and out of dresses (e.g. yoga shorts sports bras leotards) as there will be limited changing space/privacy. Must be 13-19 to participate.
