Meet Robert Pacholik Author of Night Flares: Six Tales of the Vietnam War: (Adult)

Come meet a wonderful local author! Robert Pacholik served two tours as a combat photographer in the Vietnam War 1968-1969. He is a former Sacramento Bee reporter and recent adjunct professor of American History and the U.S. Presidency. His book Night Flares: Six Tales of the Vietnam War is a hybrid short-story collection that includes six full length stories together with Prelude a detailed look at a Soldier’s Tour of Duty and Aftermath a detailed timeline of the entire Vietnam War 1964-1975. The writing is exceptional; you are THERE experiencing and feeling along with the characters. All are welcome. Copies will be available for sale. It is Noteworthy this book is a Bronze Medal Award winner of the Military Writers Society of America.
