Mom Allegedly Takes Kids on Shoplifting Trip
A 31-year-old Rosemont woman was arrested this week.

A Rosemont mom took her two daughters to a local grocery store on Sunday, but it wasn't on a shopping trip, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
Clara L. Williams stole a backpack and other school supplies worth about $50 from the Save Mart on Kiefer Boulevard Sunday evening, accompanied by her 10 and 12-year-old daughters, department spokesman Dep. Jason Ramos said.
According to a sheriff's department crime log, Williams stuffed some items in a backpack and left the store. Once outside, she was confronted by two employees.

The 31-year-old mom allegedly tried to fight off the employees, and fled the scene. The employees were able to retrieve her backpack full of stolen goods, the crime log states.
