FAST FOOD VS. HOMEMADE WITH CALIFORNIA FOOD LITERACY @ RANCHO CORDOVA LIBRARY
Tuesday, October 01, 2013
4:00 PM
Is it cheaper to buy fast food or to make it at home? Which type of food is better for our bodies? We'll explore the cost of fast food versus homemade. We look inside the world of fast food, break down ingredients, and discover how to make the same food on our own. Each child will receive a recipe for a healthier, cheaper homemade version of a fast food favorite. We also make our own recipe to eat in class. We'll read Fast Food! Gulp! Gulp! by Bernard Waber. Program made possible by the Friends of the Rancho Cordova Library.
