Just Eat It – a One Book Film screening (Adult)

Just Eat It is a documentary about food waste and food rescue. The film looks at our society’s obsession with expiration dates, perfect produce and portion sizes. It brings farmers, retailers and consumers to the table in a story that is equal parts education and delicious entertainment. This film is a great companion piece for Sacramento Public Library’s One Book: The Third Plate by Dan Barber. This is a free program hosted by the Franklin Community Library.

Join us for a seven-week film festival of all eight Harry Potter movies beginning on Halloween and ending with a 2-film marathon of Deathly Hallows on December 12. Popcorn will be provided! This free program hosted by the Franklin Community Library is designed for school-age children and teens and their families. Please note: films 1-3 are rated PG and films 4-8 are rated PG-13.
