Poll: Where Should School District Make Cuts?

The Sacramento City Unified School District is facing millions of dollars in reductions next year.

Later this week, the Sacramento City Unified School District Board of Education is scheduled to make a difficult and unpopular decision: Finding $2.5 million to cut from this year's budget and $28 million from the 2012-13 budget.

, staff floated a package of painful cuts for next year's budget, and trustees stressed they want input from the public.

"The fact of the matter is that cuts will be made," Trustee Gustavo Arroyo said at last week's board meeting. "The question is where or how."
