Rosemont Students to Take PSAT Oct. 12
The school's athletic boosters will also hold a fundraiser next month.
Sophomores at will be required to take a Preliminary SAT exam on Oct. 12, according to this week's newsblast from the school. Juniors will take the test the same day, and it will be given in the cafeteria and small gym. The cost for the test is $18, payable at the student store during lunchtime.
Counselor Ray Navarrete can provide a study guide to students, the newsletter states.
RHS Athletic Boosters to hold casino night next month
The Rosemont High School Athletic Boosters will hold a casino night on Oct. 29 at Brookside Restaurant and Bar, and are currently seeking members.

The casino fundraiser, "RoseMonte Carlo Night," is $50 per person and includes "fun bucks" and food. Drinks and food start at 6 p.m., and gaming starts at 7 p.m. The restaurant is located at 9819 Horn Rd., east of Bradshaw Road.
Membership is also open for the group, with prices ranging from $10 to $25 per person. More information is available by emailing raboosters@yahoo.com.
