Heads Up, Parents! Free SAT Classes at the Library

Free classes with Kaplan Test Prep can help you hit your target score.

Getting into college is competitive. But Sacramento Public Library can help you with free SAT classes taught by staff from Kaplan Test Prep. Kaplan, which has been helping students raise their scores for more than 75 years, offers tutoring, classes, books and more.

Every other month, the Central Library offers a two-class cycle designed to put students into a realistic test situation, then show them how they can improve their scores. Students are asked to attend both classes. All programs are designed for teens who intend to take the SAT or ACT.

Dec. 6, Saturday, 8:30 a.m. (to 1 p.m.)
SAT Practice Test
Practice for the SAT with a real SAT test under real test conditions—just as if you were taking the actual SAT. The SAT practice test is open to all high school students. Registration is required to attend.

Dec. 16, Tuesday, 6 p.m.
SAT Test Secrets 101
Learn to score higher on the SAT using key Kaplan test-taking strategies. Students who took the Dec. 6 practice test will receive their scores and learn how to improve them. Registration is required to attend.
