Suspected Fake Driver's License Leads to Arrest at Bank
According to Sacramento County Sheriff's Department officials, a man was arrested Saturday.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at the Chase Bank on Kiefer Boulevard Saturday afternoon after he allegedly tried to open an account with a phony driver's license, according to a recent Sacramento County Sheriff's Department crime log.
The man, Aden Gonzalez, allegedly presented a fake driver's license and a credit card issued to the name on the license. The number on the driver's license belonged to a man in Davis, according to the sheriff's department.
Gonzalez admitted to officers that it wasn't his real name, the crime log states.

Gonzalez could not be located in the law enforcement database, and sheriff's department spokesman Jason Ramos said he is suspected of being an undocumented immigrant.
"It seems ... Mr. Gonzalez does not appear to have legal residency status," Ramos said in an e-mail. "At the age of 31, he has no social security number listed in the system, nor a driver’s license or ID number."

Gonzalez is currently being held at the Sacramento County Mail Jail on three misdemeanor charges: burglary, using a forged driver's license and unlawful use of personal identifying information, according to sheriff's department records. He is also being held for the U.S. Border Patrol, and is ineligible for bail.
