Family Tree Thrift Shoppe will move into a former Blockbuster Video storefront.
The thrift store in Rosemont Plaza will have a new home Friday, but it's walking distance from the old one.
, which has been in the Kiefer Boulevard shopping center for seven years, will relocate into 9111 Kiefer Blvd., the former home of Blockbuster Video.

"We're going to keep it as close to how it is now [as possible]," she said.
Braden lamented the loss of other Rosemont Plaza businesses like , but said just because their business is a low-cost thrift store doesn't mean it has thrived during the recession.
"Oddly enough, we got hit hard like everybody else," she said. "If it wasn't for our regulars and the people in this neighborhood, we'd be gone."
She said the store has regular customers who come in once or twice every week.
The business was a departure for Braden and her husband. Both quit their previous careers–an employee in a pediatric clinic and a photographer, respectively–to start the Rosemont shop. They also have a second location, near Valley Hi Drive and Mack Road in south Sacramento. She said the pair strives to make their stores feel family-owned and friendly to customers.
The Rosemont Plaza store will hold a grand opening in its new location Nov. 1.
