Vote: Patch's Rosemont High School Scary Story Contest
We're looking for Rosemont High School students who can write a spooky tale. Choose your favorite.

The scariest holiday of all is right around the corner, and we're looking for a fright. We asked some English teachers to invite their students to submit spooky Halloween stories to this site for our first-ever scary story contest (a Capital Christian High School contest will be coming later).
You can find the entries listed below. Leave a comment (one per user, please!) on the story you like best, and the author who receives the most comments by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 31 will win a $25 gift card to the local restaurant of their choosing.
If you have a budding writer in the family, there's still time to enter! Send in a short (around 500 words or less) story, and try to scare us silly while keeping it family-friendly. Submit your entries to cody.kitaura@patch.com, and be sure to include your name, grade, school and a way to get in touch if you win.
