Woman Arrested After Allegedly Stealing Disposable Razors

An arrest was made at the Kiefer Boulevard Rite Aid this week.

A $17.99 pack of disposable razors turned into a trip to jail for a 23-year-old woman this week, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.

Cecilia Danielle May was arrested Tuesday after authorities say she tried to swipe a pack of razors from the Kiefer Boulevard Rite Aid but was caught by the store's loss prevention officer.

May tried to hide the item in her purse but was stopped once she got outside the store, according to a sheriff's department crime log.

She's currently being held at the Sacramento County Main Jail on a felony burglary charge, a count of probation violation and a felony warrant from San Joaquin County.

Her bail is set at $50,000 and she is due in court Thursday afternoon.
