Search for missing Roseville hiker to pause Monday afternoon due to heat, officials say (kcra.com) — Authorities are searching for 24‑year‑old Ian Roberts, a hiker from Roseville who went missing after heading into the American River Canyon from Auburn's Overlook Park. Crews will pause operations Monday afternoon because of dangerous heat but plan to resume at 7 a.m. Tuesday. Anyone with information is urged to contact Roseville police to help investigators.

See what's beneath the surface: Groundwater well open house on 10/10 (ca.gov) — Roseville residents are invited inside a working groundwater well site on Saturday, October 10, to see how the city stores water underground and safeguards future supplies. PCWA Board Approves RiverArc Joint Powers Authority With Sacramento and Roseville (rosevilletoday.com) — Roseville has formally joined Sacramento and Placer County Water Agency in a new RiverArc Joint Powers Authority that will shape how our region gets water for decades. The long‑planned project would tap the Sacramento River, easing pressure on the American River and improving supply reliability for Roseville and neighboring communities. Environmental review and planning are underway before construction and operations decisions are made.
