Thanks to First Bank and other business and community
sponsors, auction donors and guests, four local service agencies received $10,000 apiece during Placer Care Coalition, Inc.’s (PCCI) 12th Annual Wine & Food Tasting April 22 at Morgan Creek Golf & Country Club in Roseville.
“The Placer County community really stepped up for these
organizations that serve the homeless and hungry in our area,” said Janette Moynier, Vice President and Area Manager for First Bank who served as Co-Chair of the event. “I cannot thank our sponsors and donors enough for their generous financial contributions. At a time when these agencies are experiencing budget cuts, these funds translate into food, clothing, medical care and counseling for the neediest members of south Placer County.”
The four agencies receiving funds were: What Would Jesus Do? Inc., Society of St. Vincent de Paul, The Lazarus Project, and Roseville Home Start. North Roseville REC, whose volunteers helped with Raising Spirits the
past three years, also accepted a donation of $1,000.
