Former young patients of the NICU now thriving

Hundreds of adults and children turned out for the Kaiser Permanente NICU alumni reunion fall festival event held at the Roseville Medical Center on Saturday, October 13. The invited guests were children who started their lives in the neonatal intensive care unit and needed some extra attention because of a complication. But my, how they grown! This event with pumpkins, bounce houses, arts, crafts and train rides was a day of fun for Kaiser Permanente families. It was also a chance for families to reconnect with the physicians and nurses who cared for them during their stay in the neonatal intensive care unit. It was a reminder that Kaiser Permanente doesn't just offer primary and preventive care, but also great specialty care. Check out these photos and you will see these children are really THRIVING!
