The general public is invited to celebrate Earth Day, along with Kaiser Permanente physicians, employees and members, at Roseville Medical Center from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 19.
The event, at 1600 Eureka Road, is free.
Kaiser Permanente Roseville Medical Center’s Earth Day will feature more than 30 vendors in the outdoor courtyard who advocate energy conservation, waste reduction and healthier choices. The event promises to help the general public – as well as Kaiser Permanente physicians, employees and members – thrive in a healthier environment.

The representatives from local utilities will explain their green initiatives, a solar company will display different products, workers from the city of Roseville will discuss the adverse effects of storm water pollution, and officials with the Tahoe Rim Trail Association will talk about the significance of the 165-mile route.
In addition, the Electric Auto Association will be on hand to speak about the cars on display, including the Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf and Toyota Prius.

Also, the hospital's weekly farmers’ market will operate next to the Earth Day event, as well as a Community Emergency Readiness event featuring fire apparatus and other vehicles.
