We are a non-profit senior services organization that strives to keep Placer County senior citizens living independently and comfortably in their own homes as long as possible. We do so by offering all of our programs and services at no charge and utilizing volunteer efforts. Our services and programs include: Social interaction and nutritional balanced noon time meals that are provided through our Senior Nutrition Program, homebound seniors receive meals via Meals on Wheels and we provide the same meals as well as a social atmosphere at 9 congregate meal sites or Senior Cafes for seniors who are mobile. Door to Door Rides utilizes volunteer drivers to provide transportation to daily errands or medical appointments.
Meal on Wheels:
Deliver meals to homebound seniors. Drivers are given a route in an area convenient to them. They are reimbursed Gas/Mileage. This is a rewarding program for many reasons besides making sure a senior doesn’t go hungry a lot of the time you may be the only visitor they have all day and you are the highlight of their day.
