Arrest Made in Roseville Bank Robbery, Home Invasion

A 19-year-old was arrested in connection with an October home invasion robbery where residents and children were tied up with zip ties and a River City bank robbery in November.

A 19-year-old has been arrested as a suspect in two recent Roseville robberies. Delaudea Else of Sacramento is in custody in the Placer County Jail in connection with a Roseville home invasion robbery that occurred in October and bank robbery in November.

At about 9:20 p.m. on Oct. 26, in Roseville. The male resident heard the doorbell ring and a knock on the door. When he answered the door, two men armed with handguns came into the home, tied the couple and their small children up with zip-ties, and searched the home.  The suspects left with a few items, including a small gun safe containing a handgun, a cell phone and a small amount of cash.

Roseville detectives also identified Else as a suspect in the on Foothills Boulevard in Roseville.


On Dec. 9, the San Mateo Police Department arrested Else in connection with the .  During their arrest and investigation, they recovered the handgun that had been taken during the Roseville home invasion robbery.  San Mateo Police notified Roseville Police, and last week Roseville detectives picked Else up from the San Mateo County Jail and booked him into the Placer County Jail on suspicion of robbery.

Else is being held in the Placer County Jail on $150,000 bail. His booking photo will not be released at this time, due to ongoing investigations by other law enforcement agencies.

Roseville police detectives are still working to identify the other male involved in the home invasion robbery.  Anyone with information is asked to call Roseville Crime Stoppers at 916-783-7867).
