- Looking for a place to drop off all of those cardboard boxes from Christmas? The City of Roseville has several cardboard drop-off recycling locations, including a new one at 200 Corporation Yard Road. "Note: The City of Roseville is no longer recycling Styrofoam or Newspapers at these locations. It may be disposed with your regular weekly trash." (Roseville Today)
- The City of Roseville wants you to know about the flood situation. The city has a website that discusses preparedness and response, where you can find info like current stream levels and where sandbags are available. (roseville.ca.us)
- Roseville isn't the only place with a mess on our hands after the last atmospheric river came through. The City of Folsom also had a nasty end to the old year. Several roads within the city were closed due to flooding, including Folsom Boulevard and East Bidwell Street. (Gold Country Media)
- We have a large Ukrainian community in Placer County, and several refugees have settled here in the last year or so. Placer County hosts a podcast telling one refugee's story of moving from Ukraine to Placer. (placer.ca.gov)
