Blog: City Offers New Programs this Summer
The Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries Summer Recreation Guide is now available online. Check it out to plan your summer of play.
Are you ready for a summer of play? The Roseville Parks, Recreation & Libraries Summer Recreation Guide is here! This guide is filled with exciting programs for all ages.
You and your family will have a great time splashin’ around in Roseville’s three public pools. You can buy summer swim passes now for only $45 per person for the entire summer or $99 for a family of four.
I'm also really excited this year to offer a new program for children whose family can’t afford swim lessons. We are looking for donations for Operation Swim. For every $40 we will provide a child with swim lessons, a swim suit and towel. We hope to provide a minimum of one hundred fifty kids with this experience and life saving skills.

Another new thing that I'm looking forward to seeing is Sombrero Time. In Sombrero time, all of the teaching is done in Spanish to help children easily absorb a second language. We are offering two programs one for soccer and the other for art and music.
In addition to Sombrero Time, we have lots of your favorite camps such as guitar, dance, theater, art, soccer, golf, Tiny Tot Sports, carpentry and an assortment of other sports and special interest programs.

You might want to register early because many programs fill up fast. Plus, if you browse through the guide, you will find many programs offering a discount if you register before May 1. Just look for the "$ave" symbol.
Hope to you this summer in a camp, walking through the natural open space, running or biking on the trails, visiting the library or just having fun playing in the park!
