Celebrate Arbor Day at Hillsborough Park on Friday, March 9.
It’s good to be a tree in Roseville. Over 100 students from Excelsior Elementary School, gardening clubs and local service clubs will join us at 9 a.m., Friday, March 9 at for Arbor Day.
The City of Roseville has again earned national recognition as a Tree City USA by the Arbor Day Foundation. The celebration begins with a presentation of the Tree City USA award as well as the Growth Award. Bill Snyder, deputy director of Resource Management at CALFIRE, presents Roseville with the Tree City USA as well as the Growth Award. This is the 13th year Roseville has received national recognition as a Tree City USA and the 17th year to be honored with the Growth Award.
Arbor Day activities include: tree plantings, fun kid activities and informational booths. For more information about this event, visit our website.
