Business News: The Cheese Steak Shop Coming Soon to Roseville

Roseville residents will soon get to grab an authentic Philly cheese steak without a trip to Philadelphia. The Cheese Steak Shop is expected to open early this summer in Roseville.

Kentshire Ventures, LLC secured a long-term lease on a restaurant space at the Olympus Pointe Shopping Center to open The Cheese Steak Shop. Work is already underway at the 1,560-square-foot location.

“We are excited to bring this classic San Francisco-based restaurant to Roseville,” said Ben Dosanjh, co-owner of the new franchise. “People in the area have been asking for this for quite a while and we are looking forward to opening very soon.”  

The sandwiches are made fresh to order using meat, cheese, peppers and rolls imported directly from Philadelphia. They will offer sandwiches made with beef and chicken cheese steaks and vegetarian and Italian hoagies and side dishes. 

The Cheese Steak Shop, a Northern California cheese steak chain, has been known for its authentic cheese steaks for more than 25 years and has been a favorite of families, sports teams and business people throughout Northern California.

“The build-out is moving quickly and soon people in the area will be able to enjoy the truly original Philadelphia-style sandwiches from The Cheese Steak Shop,” said Kam Dosanjh, co-owner of the Roseville restaurant. “For three decades customers across the Bay Area have enjoyed their sandwiches and we look forward to bringing this first location to Roseville.” 

Based in Hercules, The Cheese Steak Shop has 30 franchised and company-owned restaurants throughout Northern California.

Hours: Will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
