Power-Turned-Off Prank

Message from Roseville Police: Over the past few weeks, west Roseville residents have called police about late-night incidents of vandalism and trespassing, including these two incidents of trespassing on private property and shutting off power, egging houses, "doorbell ditching," and throwing heavy objects at doors in the middle of the night. Roseville Police’s best guess is these activities are being done by teenagers "pranking." Roseville has a 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew every night for minors under the age of 18, meaning that minors shouldn't be out walking or driving around during those hours unless they are on an errand for their parents or returning home from work or other location with their parents' knowledge and permission. Parents are ultimately responsible for knowing where their minor children are, and what they are doing.
