Then, at 11:30 p.m. officers responded to a burglary in progress at a home in the 1500 block of Derrylin, near Bottlebrush Circle. The residents heard noises in their backyard and saw a male standing on their patio awning, trying to get into a second-story window.
The male fled without getting in or taking anything. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The laptop stolen from Bottlebrush was found in the backyard of the house on Derrylin, so it appears the suspect first went into the house on Bottlebrush, then went to the house on Derrylin, where he was scared off, according to Roseville Police.

The Honda collided with a citizen's vehicle near Blue Oaks Boulevard, causing damage to the citizen's vehicle, but fortunately no injuries.
Officers pursued the reckless driver until he spun out of control on Pleasant Grove Boulevard near Highway 65.
The driver and his two passengers got out of the vehicle and fled into a nearby neighborhood. Officers initiated a ground search with the help of a CHP airplane and Rocklin police officers. Eventually officers arrested the two suspected passengers, a 23-year-old male from Rancho Cordova and a 24-year old male from Sacramento, on suspicion of resisting and delaying officers and other related charges.
Officers are continuing to investigate to identify and locate the driver.
