Road Rage Incident Involves Knife

Around 6 p.m. June 22, two drivers got onto a brief verbal dispute at the intersection of Washington and Junction boulevards, when one driver commented on the other driver's aggressive driving. The alleged aggressive driver got out of his vehicle, reached into the other vehicle and slashed at the other driver with a knife, then drove away. Officers identified a suspect and contacted him at his home in Roseville. The suspect, a 51-year-old male, was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. 

Vandals Break Oakmont High Skylights

Sometime over the weekend of June 17, someone broke out some skylights at Oakmont High School. Roseville Police said burglaries, thefts and vandalism on school campuses always increase over the summer. Keep an eye out and report any suspicious activity immediately to police. 

Numerous Vehicle Break-ins in East Roseville

Several vehicle burglaries were reported this week at East Roseville parks, fitness centers and restaurants, and at the trailhead at Sierra College Boulevard and Miner's Ravine. Police advice people not to leave purses, wallets or other valuables in an unattended vehicle.

Vandals Slash Tires, Spray Paint Car

Around 2 a.m. June 20, Roseville Police received report that someone slashed the tires of a vehicle and vandalized the vehicle with spray paint. The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Augusta Way.

Two vehicles parked on Somer Ridge Drive were also vandalized within the last few days. Tires were slashed and a convertible top was cut, police report.
