Two Teens Arrested on Suspicion of Attempted Burglary

At 9:20 a.m. Friday, March 9, a resident noticed a car cruising slowly past houses in the area of Loretto Drive and Cindy Circle.  She got a description of the car, including the license plate number, and notified Roseville Police.  An officer responded and checked the area, but couldn't find the suspicious vehicle at that time.

An hour and a half later, another neighbor called to report a male in the greenbelt area, peeking over his back fence. With the help of a Placer County Sheriff's K9, several officers searched the greenbelt and the neighborhood for the suspects and their car.  They found the car in the neighborhood (thanks to the first alert neighbor's description) and detained two suspects nearby.
