Local author Teresa Gary will be at Pet Food Express, 1009 Galleria Blvd.,Roseville, Saturday, March 10, 2012, from 12 noon - 2 pm, to sign her book, English for Dogs: 50 Words Every Well-Mannered Companion Should Know. The book English for Dogs shows you how to teach your dog 50 common behaviors using verbal commands and positive training methods. This will help them fit into the household more comfortably and know what is expected of them, and what to expect from the owners. Ms. Gary devotes her time to the rescue and rehabilitation of homeless dogs and to assisting adopters with a variety of training issues. She is currently on the board of directors for NorCal Sheltie Rescue, has been a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) since 2005, and is a member of the Sacramento Valley Shetland Sheepdog Club, also since 2005.
