Dads changing the car oil? Check. Dads changing baby diapers? You bet. Research shows more fathers are staying home with their children as more and more mothers join the workforce.
To help dads learn the ropes, there's a new program called Daddy's Tool Bag. Its part of an education and awareness program by nine Sacramento region First 5 Children and Families Commissions to help fathers become better parents.
To kick-off the program, the nine First 5 Commissions will feature a Daddy’s Tool Bag exhibit at the 2011 Children’s Health and Safety Faire in Loomis. Dads attending the event can participate in educational and hands on experiences and can try their luck at the “Diaper Toss” to win prizes.
