The I Am Happy Project is a registered non-profit organization. Their mission: "To spread happiness globally, one person at a time"
Proceeds to this event will go towards their "Happiness in Schools" Project which is a campaign to teach as many students how to be happy and compassionate. The schools do a great job teaching us a lot of things, we want to add how to be happy as part of the list.
{ Roseville Chapter's goal is to go into 100+ classrooms in the Roseville area and spread happiness- this will cost $30,000 to do. So any amount of donations or sponsorship is greatly appreciated and will go directly to the Roseville Chapter in helping their quest. }
The estimated cost is $300, per classroom size of 25-30 students. Our target is 100 classes for this school year!
Some of the Benefits reported after happiness at schools include:
Improved test scores
less bullying and better handling of bullying situations
decreased drug usage
reduced gang and clicks involvement
higher self-esteem / confidence
an overall better outlook towards life
