  1. Are you looking to get outside and enjoy some of this fabulous weather while we have it? Gold Country Media has a rundown of all of the great parks and recreational activities in the area. So, don't just go to the park down the street this week! Head out and find something new! We have tons of options to choose from, and your kids will thank you.
  2. Kenneth Glotzbach, an ex-Roseville Utilities assistant director, was sentenced to 360 days behind bars and two years' probation for embezzlement. "According to officials, Glotzbach billed the City of Roseville, Placer County and the South Placer Municipal Utilities District a total of $307,737.27 worth of fraudulent invoices, credit card charges and public funding from 2018 to 2021." (ABC10.com KXTV)
  3. The City of Roseville has lots of new businesses, and businesses that are expanding within our city. If you're curious about all of the new restaurants and storefronts you're seeing out there, here's a growing list of recent activity you can check out.
  4. Roseville's California Recovery Center, "a top-rated rehabilitation treatment provider for substance abuse in Roseville, California," added Kaiser Permanente as an in-network provider. Kaiser joins other major carriers Cigna, Halcyon Behavioral, Tricare and Aetna, who will reimburse care from the center, making "services more flexible and accessible to the public."   5. Costco is coming to Brace Road. In support of that development, the Loomis Planning Commission voted to widen Sierra College Boulevard "along the frontage for a bike lane and third northbound travel lane between Granite Drive and Brace Road." The construction will include a new stoplight and new turn lanes. (Gold Country Media)

"Laura was a well respected and dedicated ACO for the Roseville Police Department from 2004-2015 and continued helping with wildlife found in the City after her retirement."   • Roseville Parks and Rec is having a job fair this Saturday, January 28 from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Mahany Fitness Center. (Roseville Parks & Recreation via Instagram)
  • West Park High School's School Resource Officer Jerry Wernli will be taking a Polar Plunge into the new swimming pool at the school on February 1!
