  1. On Wednesday, in a reversal of a recent decision, the California Occupational Safety and Health Administration (Cal/OSHA) adopted new workplace facemask guidelines with California’s June 15 “reopening” date in mind. The new rules are more in line with Governor Newsom’s plan to reopen the state economy, the guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the current directives from the California Dept. of Public Health. (CaGov)
  2. And speaking of the June 15 “reopening” date for California, many City of Roseville amenities and services will see increased hours and will do away with required reservations after June 15. Be sure to check online for new hours and site capacities before you visit pools, libraries, museums, offices, etc. (CoR)
  3. High-Hand Nursery owner Scott Paris plans to open a brewery in the former High-Hand fruit shed at 3750 Taylor Rd. in Loomis. About me

My name is Kelly Mays Risse, and I have lived in Roseville just about all my life. I graduated from Roseville High School majored in Journalism at CSU Sacramento. If you recognize me, it may be from St. Clare Church, where I worked the past 10 years. Or maybe from the myriad activities my husband and I have been part of while raising our three boys here. I have watched Roseville grow from a cheerful little railroad town to a large and diverse city. I love where we live, from the hiking trails to the hip new restaurants, and the people who live here. I am excited to bring the highlights to you!
