Fall Art Events Kick Off With Thrive Festival
Blue Line Gallery and Roseville Arts! have two fall events coming up. Their fundraiser focus is on giving back to the kids.

Kaiser Permanente Roseville doctors will swap out their stethoscopes for paintbrushes Saturday, Oct. 1 for Thrive Family Arts Festival, benefiting Roseville Arts.
The free festival is one of two big events happening this fall with the , gallery intern Kathleen Mazzei said.
“Kaiser Permanente is partnering with Roseville Arts to help your family grow with the arts and thrive,” Mazzei said. “Kaiser's physicians will put down their stethoscopes and pick up paintbrushes as they join families and local artists for a day of fun and creativity. There will also be local performers showing off their stuff.”

The second fall event with Blue Line Gallery is the Lottery for the Arts on Oct. 8. The lottery will be their 3rd annual fundraising event and the proceeds will go back to the gallery itself to help develop more classes for the community as well as for kids.
“Everyone who buys a ticket leaves the event with an original piece of art work and will enjoy food, drinks, a raffle, and auction,” Mazzei said.

In June, the gallery held the Rooftop Beach Bash, in which proceeds went back to the kids.
“All proceeds made by the fundraiser went to the Children’s Arts Program at Blue Line Gallery and in the community,” said Volunteer Coordinator Sue Kirstein.
During the rooftop bash fundraiser, about 20 custom-designed surfboards were raffled off and the event consisted of live music, food, wine, beer, a chance to meet local artists, and a chance to purchase artwork.
Volunteer Kendell Tubbs said one thing she likes about Roseville Arts! and the gallery is their support for the younger generation. Inside the gallery, there’s a space dedicated to children and high school students’ artwork.
“As a retired kindergartner teacher, I appreciate how Blue Line Gallery is reaching out to the kids in the community,” Volunteer Carol Madden said.
