  1. A speeding Mercedes left the road and hit a tree in Granite Bay Wednesday night, killing all four men inside. The incident happened in the area of East Roseville Parkway and Brackenbury Way just before 9:30 p.m. The crash is under investigation. (Press Democrat)
  2. Bradley McClung of Rocklin was sentenced to 52 years to life in prison on Wednesday for attempted murder "and other related charges," in a case that involved a retired Sacramento County sheriff’s deputy. McClung was convicted of breaking into the deputy's home and "viciously attacking" the victim for more than an hour. The deputy "endured extensive injuries such as two blood clots that resulted in brain trauma, causing severe mobility and cognitive issues." (Roseville Today)
  3. The parents of missing Roseville woman Aeris Hammock got the best possible news on Wednesday: Police say Hammock was found safe. She had been missing since December 9, when she disappeared after being seen last near Gunther's Ice Cream in South Sacramento. (KTXL FOX 40 Sacramento)
  4. Roseville Today brings you the second in a series of articles about new California laws that may affect Rosevillians. The laws summarized today include "firearms, veteran services, human remains, homeless children, change of gender, hate crimes, domestic violence and more."
