Here are the top three stories in Roseville today:

  1. On Friday afternoon, Roseville police responded to a jewelry store robbery at the Galleria Mall. Over the weekend, they released descriptions of the 10 people who were reportedly involved in the incident at Valliani Jewelers. Officials described the suspects as 16 to 22 years old and wearing face masks and hoodies. Police say the robbery was captured on surveillance video and the suspects fled in an orange Dodge Charger and four-door Ford Sedan. The investigation is active and the police encourage anyone with information to come forward (Sacramento Bee)
  2. How expensive are the priciest homes sold in Roseville? Among the 42 registered real estate sales in town this past week, the average price came at $633,877, and $333 per square foot. Meanwhile, a home that sold for $1.3 million tops Sacramento Bee’s list as the most expensive real estate sale. (Sacramento Bee)
  3. Placer Valley Tourism CEO David Attaway has died at the age of 66. Attaway passed away last week while on vacation in New Orleans, Louisiana. Locally, he is well-known for his work in the transformation of the former Placer County Fairgrounds into @the Grounds in Roseville. The cause of death is pending and has not yet been released.
