  1. San Francisco Giants pitcher Logan Webb returned to his alma mater, Rocklin High School, to tell a tragic personal story about fentanyl. A single pill killed his cousin, and now he wants to spread the word about the dangers of these little pills. (ABC10.com KXTV)
  2. The Placer County Board of Supervisors made it official: Acting County CEO Jane Christenson was appointed to the position on a permanent basis. She takes over the position formerly held by Todd Leopold, who was terminated after a discrimination and harassment complaint was filed against him. Christenson's term began yesterday.   3. After a pilot program that began in July, the Placer County Board of Supervisors approved an amendment to the income guideline to qualify for help in clearing defensive space on homeowners' property. "The income guideline has been amended from very low to low income." (Roseville Press Tribune)
  4. Roseville Public Transit wants you to be aware that "buses serving the Civic Center Transfer Point will temporarily stop on Oak Street from 2 p.m. - 9 p.m, on Dec. 1 due to the Christmas Tree Lighting event." Go early or find a detour that day. (Roseville Public Transit via Facebook)
  5. The Grinch almost stole Christmas in Folsom. Less than a week after lights were put up by volunteers and small business owners on Sutter Street in Historic Folsom, vandals destroyed parts of the promenade.
