1. There is a house on Castle Rock Way that has an amazing Haunted House to raise money to buy medications for sick kids in El Salvador. And now is your chance to play a part in this unique endeavor to give back. They're looking for actors! They build 10+ rooms in their backyard each year, each with its own theme. This year they are looking for volunteers to act in these rooms. Dates are October 30th and October 31st 4-10pm. (It's early enough to still get ready for work/school the next day!) 3. Rocklin now has an app where residents can access important city information including news and event info. The Simplicity app is free to download from the App Store and Google Play at https://simplicity.app.link/Rocklin. “Rocklin is happy to join Placer County and the City of Roseville in this effort to make municipal information in our area more easily accessible to constituents” said Rocklin Mayor Bill Halldin. 4. Folsom's Americana Fest is bringing you a couple of exciting programs October 21 & 22. On October 21 join Johnny Cash's son John Carter Cash at the Folsom Community Center for an intimate conversation about his life and famous parents. There will be dinner, dancing, live auction, memorabilia, conversations with John Carter Cash and other special guests, according to the event’s website. Then, on October 22, you can head over to the Dan Russel Rodeo Arena “for a day of live country, folk, bluegrass and rockabilly music from local artists. Food trucks, beer, wine and local vendors will also be at the arena.” All proceeds from the event benefit the Folsom Cash Art Trail and the Wildwood Performing Arts Foundation. (ABC10.com KXTV)
