from the First Congregational Church of Auburn for an upcoming Public Forum
onThe Affordable Care Act as it will be implemented in Placer County.

Please place the article in
the Auburn Journal around one week before the event, on Sunday, October 20th
edition, if at all possible.

necessary. We would love an article with photo if possible.  We hope and expect around 200+ people
will be interested in attending this event, and know that the Auburn Journal
will help us get out the word.

Healthcare Reform is Here
Community Forum

First Congregational Church,
UCC

A free public forum on the
Affordable Care Act in California, “Healthcare Reform is Here!” will be held
for the Auburn area Sunday, October 27th, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. at
First Congregational Church, 710 Auburn Ravine Road, Auburn. A free light lunch
will be served prior to the forum, at 12:30 p.m.

 The program will outline all
aspects of the Affordable Care Act in California, including who is eligible,
how to find out about coverage, and how to get assistance to enroll in the
program.  Certified Enrollment
Counselors will be available to aide individuals in using computers to enroll.

Cheryl Davis, Director of
Human Services for Placer County and Maureen Bauman, Director of Adult System
of Care and Medical Clinics for Placer County will speak about services of the
Affordable Care Act in Placer County and will answer participant questions.

 Sponsors for the forum
are:  First Congregational Church
UCC, Auburn New Faith UCC, Auburn Presbyterian Church, and Placer People of
Faith Together.

 All interested community
members are welcome to attend. No prior registration is necessary.  For more information on the forum, call
