- If luxury is what you're after, you may be in luck. Saint Laurent is expanding its space at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville. The new store will be about 6,500 square feet. “We’re thrilled that Saint Laurent is expanding the size of their store and look forward to seeing the new collections they will be able to offer customers in the larger space," said Jennifer Crowley, marketing director for the mall. - Holy moly. These dudes were found with nearly 15 pounds of suspected fentanyl in their vehicle! That's 60,000 pills. Rocklin police made a traffic stop at about 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 17. K9 officer Ruger searched the vehicle and zeroed in on a bag on the passenger's side. Jorge Vega and Oscar Silvas "were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and transportation/sale of a controlled substance." (ABC10.com KXTV)
- The owner of a now-defunct Roseville investment business was sentenced to eight years and eight months in state prison. Between 2012 and 2017 Robert Barnack represented that he was investing monies on behalf of a local family-owned agriculture business for a profit-sharing plan for its employees. In fact, according to documents from legal proceedings, Barnack used the money "to purchase cars, jewelry, pay for college tuition and other personal items." The judge sentenced Barnack to "to the maximum time in prison, calling his behavior 'shameful.'" (Roseville Today)
