ROSEVILLE, CA— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!
Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?
April is an amazing wife, mother, daughter and daughter-in- law! Not only is she raising three incredible children, she is also a high school teacher, class sponsor and swim coach with Roseville Rec! In the past, she has also coached high school water polo as well as swim teams and still finds time to participate in her kids’ PTC, soccer teams, Girl Scouts, theatre productions, gymnastics and neighborhood block parties! With all of her involvement, she always puts her family first. I love and admire her!
Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?
April is an incredible person who gives of herself generously.
