Here are the top stories in Roseville today:

1. The International Space Station captured a picture of Folsom Lake! It looks majestic against the snow-capped mountains of the Sierras. The ISS made a second pass on Tuesday and captured pictures of the Sutter Buttes. (KTXL FOX 40 Sacramento)
2. Roseville Today is back at it, summarizing the next set of California laws that may impact you. Today the laws covered deal with "mental health, reproductive rights, affordable housing, community colleges, climate, Medi-Cal, and more."
3. A $12.1 million contract was approved by the Placer County Board of Supervisors Tuesday. The contract will cover "infrastructure improvements at the Placer County Government Center." (placer.ca.gov)
4. Rocklin Police say that a man who died of a gunshot wound there on Wednesday was not the victim of homicide. The wound was self-inflicted. "The shooting happened just before 4 a.m. at the Sunset Street Apartments." Police have not said whether the act was intentional or accidental. (CBS Sacramento via MSN)
5. An Uber vehicle struck a pedestrian on Sunrise Boulevard, just south of Kensington Drive early Tuesday morning. "The unnamed pedestrian 'walked directly into the path of the oncoming vehicle,' the CHP news release said, and the left front of [the Uber driver's] vehicle struck the pedestrian." The victim died at the scene. (Gold Country Media)
