Just Serve Day - Saturday May 2nd, 9am-Noon
Saturday, May 2nd from 9am-Noon - Community Service Project at two local parks in Roseville, CA WATER CONVERSATION PROJECTS
Community Service Project: Volunteers will work together on water conservation projects, which involves converting grass areas to plants & bark that use much less water. All are welcome to join in this service project to help our great City of Roseville. Many hands make light work!
Volunteers are asked to bring work gloves, shovels, pitchforks, and/or wheelbarrows. Volunteers will remove grass, lay down new irrigation, and plant water conservative plants. The City will pre-cut the grass into sod strips, provide irrigation materials/guidance and new plants. The city will lay down new bark in the following days to complete work.
Choose either park - projects are similar, both start at 9am until approximately 12pm.
