- You probably know to slow down and leave plenty of room between your car and the car in front of you when you're driving in winter weather, but the Roseville PD has some other safety recommendations for you to consider, as well. Make sure that your tires are fully inflated. Check your headlights, brake lights and emergency lights. Make sure you have your cell phone and car charger with you and, hey! Be careful out there! (Roseville Today)
- Are you being safe and sane and staying indoors for all of these storms? If you are, maybe you have some FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) going on? Never fear! FOX40 has a gallery of pictures taken all around Roseville, showing the storm damage. Take a peek and I guarantee you'll be glad you stayed inside! (KTXL FOX 40 Sacramento)
- To all of my creative friends in the audience: The City of Roseville has an open call for artists to create a new art installation at Veterans Memorial Park North. The city will dedicate the new art installation for Veteran's Day 2023. "Information about the proposal requirements, project scope and timeline is available here. Proposals from interested artists must be submitted by February 10, 2023 in order to be included in the selection process. " (Roseville)

- "The 'leaning tree of Roseville' has been quickly and safely removed thanks to the quick action of our Urban Forestry team." This 145-foot-tall, 77-year-old pine tree finally decided to give up the ghost during the recent floods. The problem was that the soil could no longer hold it, and it was leaning precariously toward houses and other structures that would not be able to hold its weight. Watch as crews carefully cut and removed the tree with precision that allowed them to spare all of the nearby structures. (Roseville Parks & Recreation via Instagram)
