Here are the top three stories in Roseville today:

  1. What better time for our Roseville Public Library to give us an update on new programs, technology and community engagement than National Library Week? This is not your grandfather’s library, as the saying goes. With three branches spread out around town, the RPL is using new technology and streaming to reach out to segments of the public unable to participate in traditional programming. And it’s all free. Check it out! (What’s Happening in Roseville)
  2. With words like smash,” “bash,” and destruction in the headline, you know it’s going to be a wild time at the All American Speedway @The Grounds in Roseville. The decimation happens Saturday at Spring Smash, featuring the first Riebes Auto Parts Trailer Bash of the year and a second round of NASCAR 2022 competition. General admissions tickets are $20, kids 6-12 are $15 and tots five-and-under are free. The grandstand opens at 5:00 pm and the rubber starts burning at 6:00 pm. (Speedway Digest)
  3. A few of the residents at Eskaton Residential Living were recently featured in a video segment about local nonprofit The Petal Connection. This floral delivery service gifts fresh floral bouquets to patients in hospice care to brighten their day. Viewing this piece will brighten yours. (Good Day Sacramento)

From our sponsor:

Where should you invest as a Roseville resident with a $149,000 nest egg? Thanks to a change in the legal code, there’s a new investment Roseville residents need to know about. In fact, Bloomberg asked experts where they’d invest $100,000 right now and many of them chose it.

This may surprise you, but it’s fine art.

Growing your nest egg with art isn’t new. Wealthy families like the Rockefellers have done it for centuries.

Here’s why:

  • Low correlation to stocks according to Citi
  • Contemporary art historically returns 23.2% when inflation is >3%
  • Contemporary art prices outpaced the S&P 500 by 164% (1995-2021)

Translation: Art could be one of the best investments for uncertain times.

Luckily for you, we found Masterworks. This revolutionary platform lets you invest in art by Warhol, Monet, Picasso without spending millions.

The best part? Anyone from your area can skip their waitlist*.
