
Area residents can safely dispose of expired and unneeded perscription, over the counter and veterinary medications Saturday (April 27) in Roseville and Granite Bay.
Drop off locations will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Granite Bay, Oakmont, Roseville and Woodcreek high schools.
The take-back is co-sponsored by the Roseville Police Department, Coalition for Placer Youth, Roseville Joint Union High School District, public health entities and water agencies.

The medicaitons can be dropped off anonymously.
The safe disposal, "keeps pollutants out of our water and keeps dangerous medicines out of reach of our children," said Dee Dee Gunther, Roseville Police Department spokesperson.
