Merryhill Preschool in Roseville Donates to Toys for Tots

Students held a toy drive in support of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program

Students at Merryhill Preschool in Roseville recently collected more than 50 new toys for Toys for Tots, a gift drive run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. At the close of the toy drive, a Toys for Tots representative visited the school to pick up the donations. Students helped load the gifts into the vehicle for delivery to local children in need. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving to others in need, especially during the holidays.

Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to less fortunate children during each holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by Marines and volunteers offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime.
